I started We Are Handyman shortly after I was let go from my sub-contractor position from a major corporation.  Like many other people; I had a decision to make, I could either find 2 full time jobs to replace my previous income or I could try to go in business for myself and do something that I love to do. Being a single father with two sons to take care of, doing what I have done for years for family, friends, and neighbors seemed the only real choice. 

Since I was very young I have always been involved in some sort of construction projects. While in college I even worked for a contractor installing interior trim and kitchen cabinets and countertops.  I have replaced old and weathered roofs, built decks and put up fences, put in cabinetry and have laid tile floors. 

I always get complemented on a job well done, and to be honest, I really enjoy what I do. I may not always have the lowest bid on every job, but the craftsmanship that I deliver for my customers, speaks for itself.  My boys are a big part of my life, and owning my own business has given me the diversity to be more involved in their lives, and for that I am truly grateful.
